BAREFOOT SHOES DESIGNED BY BAREFOOT RUNNERS
12 years ago, conventional footwear may have been the cause that left our mom’s injury and ended her running’s passion. That pain ignited our journey into barefoot running, experiencing the wisdom of our ancestors who ran in sandals—like Mexico’s Tarahumara huarache sandals and straw sandals from Asian culture. Both have been worn for millennia without restricting the freedom of our feet.

TAO to Freedom was inspired by the ancient wisdom of using natural plant fiber reinterpreted in modern sneaker style, bringing us to a new barefoot shoes experience - minimize the use of plastic.
